That is what a Yakima exterior goes through every year, and it is why the prep matters more than the paint. Failing coats come off, gaps get caulked, bare and problem areas get primed. Then the finish coats go on, and they stay on.

Prep first, paint second

Most of a good paint job happens before the paint.

Peeling siding gets scraped and sanded back. Glass, rails and concrete get masked. Gaps get caulked and bare wood gets primed. Only then does the sprayer come out. These are three stages from real PNW Paint jobs.

We are based in downtown Yakima and paint throughout the Yakima Valley: Yakima, Selah, Union Gap, Moxee, Zillah, Naches, Wapato, Toppenish, Granger, Sunnyside and Grandview, plus Prosser, Ellensburg, Kittitas, Cle Elum, Wenatchee and the Tri-Cities. Yes. Inside we paint walls, ceilings, trim, baseboards, doors, kitchens, bathrooms and cabinets. Outside we paint siding, trim, fascia, soffits, doors, garages and shops, on houses, rentals, apartment complexes and commercial buildings.

Inside, we fill nail holes, repair minor drywall damage, blend texture, sand, caulk gaps and spot-prime before any finish coat. Outside, we clean, scrape and sand failing paint, caulk gaps, make minor repairs and prime bare or problem areas so the new coating holds up to Yakima sun, wind and cold.

Yes. We paint offices, retail spaces, storefronts, apartment complexes and rental properties, including tenant turnovers and ongoing property maintenance. On storefronts we can schedule work outside trading hours so the business keeps running.
