Interior painting that starts with the wall, not the paint

Walls, ceilings, trim, baseboards and doors for homes, rentals and offices in Yakima, Selah, Moxee, Union Gap and Zillah. One room or the whole interior.

Chapter 01

Where an interior repaint goes wrong

Most disappointing interior paint jobs fail before the first coat. Nail holes get painted over instead of filled. A patch of drywall repair shows through as a dull square. A crack along the baseboard is left open, so the new line looks ragged within a month. Paint is only as good as the surface under it.

That is why a bedroom, a kitchen or a bathroom repaint here begins with a walk around the room. We look at the walls with the light raking across them, because that is when every dent, seam and old repair shows itself.

How the crew prepares and paints a room

We repair nail holes and minor drywall damage, then patch and blend the texture so the repair disappears instead of announcing itself. Surfaces get sanded, gaps get caulked, and bare or patched spots are spot-primed so the finish coat dries evenly instead of flashing.

Then comes the part you see: cutting in clean lines where wall meets ceiling, trim, baseboard and door casing. Ceilings, including deep skylight wells, get the same care as the walls. Furniture is moved and protected before any tape goes up, and the room is left tidy when the crew leaves.

The same steps apply whether the job is a single room, a rental that needs a fresh coat, or a full interior repaint of an apartment or office.

Chapter 03

A clean finish you can live with

We use quality coatings chosen for a durable, wipeable finish in the rooms that take the most wear: kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and doors. Trim and doors are sanded and finished so they look crisp next to the walls rather than like an afterthought.

Our goal is simple: clean lines, careful attention to your property, and a room that looks right when we hand it back. Landlords and property managers who need the same standard between tenants can read about our approach to rental turnovers.

From a customer in Yakima

“They painted some ceilings in our home, which included three deep skylights, and did a great job at a reasonable price. They were very clean and careful, took good care of our furniture, and were super friendly! Would hire them again.”
